Hi! I’m Sara.
Sara Juarez is a Cuban Guatemalan American illustrator and designer.
Sara was born and raised in Miami, attended New World School of the Arts, and received a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.
Passionate about color, prints and illustrations, she enjoys the challenge of designing for different cultures and creative spaces. She has designed prints and graphics for a variety of consumers which include China, Japan, the United States and Europe. Whether an illustration for children’s wear brand Pink Chicken who celebrates the shared spirit of mothers and daughters or for New York’s dessert staple Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, the focus remains the same, to make something great with good people.
Sara is humbled to have been able to work on brand collaborations with brands like Nintendo, Sanrio, Disney, and even beloved designer Alber Elbaz; companies that she has personally admired throughout her life. In addition, she is always looking to work with non-profits and companies that are focusing on quality of life and environmental causes.
She currently works out of her Jersey City studio and lives with her husband who is also a designer. Together they share a two year old daughter and spend weekends exploring and looking for culinary goodies to eat.
